I noticed an
article on cnn.com about getting enough sleep. The basic gist of it is that inadequate sleep adversely affects one's health; specifically, it can make it easier to gain weight due to hormonal changes that occur with sleep deprivation. I don't think it's a big suprise to most people that lack of sleep increases daytime fatigue, irritability, and likelihood of getting sick. With all of the media attention and health advice on weight management, I am surprised that the need for enough sleep hasn't been given more emphasis.
